Focused Investment In The Sports and Communities We Serve
At ERIK’S, our community support is intentional and structured. Each year, we allocate charitable giving to initiatives that directly strengthen the sports and communities we serve. Our efforts focus on four core pillars: Advocacy, Trail Stewardship, Youth Programming, and Community Development.
By concentrating support in these areas, we ensure meaningful and lasting impact across the regions we serve.
Our Giving Model
ERIK’S charitable partnerships are planned and allocated annually. At this time, we are not accepting unsolicited donation or sponsorship requests.
To ensure we make the greatest impact, ERIK’S prioritizes support within our four pillars. We are committed to investing where we can create a lasting impact on the sports and communities we serve.
We appreciate the organizations, volunteers, and leaders who make riding better for everyone.
Together, we build stronger cycling communities.
MICHIGAN COMMUNITY SUPPORT
Across Michigan, riders benefit from a strong mix of destination trail systems and accessible local routes surrounding our locations in Traverse City, Birmingham, and Rochester Hills. Regional networks like the TART Trail provide paved, rider-friendly miles, while routes such as the Paint Creek Trail offer gravel connections expanding access to longer suburban and rural rides.
Mountain biking is a defining part of the region, with nationally recognized systems such as Arcadia Dunes Trail System, DTE Energy Foundation Trail, and Stony Creek Metropark Trails offering a wide range of terrain from flow trails to technical singletrack. ERIK’S is proud to support local development of the sport through partnerships with teams like Wheels Down Racing, helping to grow competitive and community-based cycling across the state.
Michigan’s cycling community comes together around hallmark events like the Barry-Roubaix Gravel Road Race and the Iceman Cometh Challenge, one of the largest point-to-point mountain bike races in the country. These events draw thousands of riders each year and highlight the strength and diversity of Michigan’s cycling scene across gravel and mountain bike disciplines. ERIK’S is proud to support riders across Michigan—from local paths to destination trail systems—helping more people connect with the sport and their communities.
