Focused Investment In The Sports and Communities We Serve
At ERIK’S, our community support is intentional and structured. Each year, we allocate charitable giving to initiatives that directly strengthen the sports and communities we serve. Our efforts focus on four core pillars: Advocacy, Trail Stewardship, Youth Programming, and Community Development.
By concentrating support in these areas, we ensure meaningful and lasting impact across the regions we serve.
Our Giving Model
ERIK’S charitable partnerships are planned and allocated annually. At this time, we are not accepting unsolicited donation or sponsorship requests.
To ensure we make the greatest impact, ERIK’S prioritizes support within our four pillars. We are committed to investing where we can create a lasting impact on the sports and communities we serve.
We appreciate the organizations, volunteers, and leaders who make riding better for everyone.
Together, we build stronger cycling communities.
KANSAS/MISSOURI COMMUNITY SUPPORT
Across the Kansas City metro, riders on both sides of the state line have access to a growing network of paved paths and community-supported routes surrounding our locations in Overland Park, Leawood, and Liberty. Popular corridors like the Indian Creek Trail and Line Creek Trail provide approachable miles for commuting, fitness, and everyday riding.
Mountain biking continues to expand across the region, with established systems such as Swope Park Trails, Landahl Park Reserve, and Shawnee Mission Park Trails, along with newer and developing destinations like Mark McHenry Park and the Excelsior Springs trail system, offering a range of terrain from beginner-friendly loops to more technical singletrack. Ongoing advocacy and infrastructure improvements are supported by organizations like PeopleForBikes, helping strengthen access and the overall riding experience across both states.
Regional events bring the cycling community together each year, including Bike MS: Kansas City, Unbound Gravel in Emporia, KS, one of the premier gravel events in the world, Opal Wapoo Gravel in Excelsior Springs, and the ERIK’S Mega Demo Tour, giving riders opportunities to connect and experience new equipment. ERIK’S is proud to support riders across Kansas and Missouri, from local paths to destination trails, helping more people get out and ride.
