The 2023 Volkl Kendo 99 Ski is an all-mountain freerider with a state-of-the-art build that can be used for so many different things by experienced skiers who relish powerful turns on any terrain and on any piste. Like the Mantra and Kenja, the Kendo 88 comes with revised geometry and a one metre shorter centre radius in its 3D Radius Sidecut. The key is that the three different radii combined in one ski make for enormously versatile cornering. The new 16 m radius in the middle further increases its radius variability. Thrills await if you love tight turns cut fully on the edge. This ski encourages a sporty, intuitive style on groomed slopes, but also provides the manoeuvrability you need to get through challenging terrain. Less force is required too, thanks to a shorter centre radius. This season, the Kendo 88 also features Tailored Carbon Tips and a Tailored Titanal Frame. So if it wasn’t clear already, there can now be no doubt that fun is the Kendo’s middle name.

- Three radii in one ski for maximum turning & speed versatility in all mountain skiing
- Tailored Carbon Tips: In this innovative manufacturing process the new Tailored Carbon Tips are produced by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material. The stiffness, torsion and thus the skiing characteristics can be specifically adjusted via the fiber thickness and millimeter-precise alignment. In this way, the fibers guide the dynamics to the areas of the ski where they are needed. The visibly integrated Tailored Carbon Tips are light, allow an agile shovel reaction with less effort and quickly build up energy. The Tailored Carbon Tips thus reach a new level of precision, direct tip response and active skiing pleasure.
- Multilayer Woodcore: The combination of beech and poplar results in an extremely durable wood core composed of hard wood in the binding area and lighter wood around.
- Flat Ski, bindings not included. Recommended bindings equal to waist width or up to 15mm wider.

- Twin Tip - Rounded shape with an early rise in the tail of the ski adapted for in the terrain park, on features, and buttering down runs.
- Flared - A more traditional flat shape with a slight rise in the tail for grip and stability on different terrain.
- Flat - Shaped for more control on firm snow and quick turning versatility.

- Short - A radius of 15 meters or less designed for quick maneuverability from edge to edge.
- Medium - A versatile all mountain radius that falls between 15-20 meters ideal for most riders.
- Long - A radius of 20 meters or more for aggressive, big mountain riding at high speeds.
