The 2023 Salomon Sight Snowboard is an all-mountain snowboard with a freeride inspired shape. A tapered directional shape enhances turning sensation and float, with Cross Profile camber for stability on groomers. Using eco-friendly cork rails the Sight makes hard pack feel like butter while reducing the impact on the planet.
- Cross Profile: Camber between the feet for better control, pop and landing stability. Rocker on tip & tail for effortless floatation forward and switch.
- Tapered Directional: Tail width is slightly tapered 2-20mm. This loosens up turning initiation and improves floatation in deeper snow without sacrificing edge hold on hardpack.
- Popster: The core is strategically milled inside of the insert packs, allowing the board to flex more naturally underfoot and transfer energy into the nose and tail for added pop.
- Quadratic: A blend of elliptic curves for easy turn initiation, effortless direction changes and fluid edge to edge transitions.
- BA LD Fiberglass: The use of Low-density fibers allows us to produce lighter boards that keep their playful forgiving flex forever.
- Extruded EG: A harder compound than EXT, Salomon EXT EG takes the easy maintenance of a non-sintered base and adds Electra for increased gliding characteristics.
- Aspen Strong: CNC-selected high-density wood strips for the inserts and rail zones results in improved impact resistance and a predictable flex from opening day to spring slush.
- FSC Certified Woodcore: FSC certified wood comes from forests that meet the highest environmental and social standards, supporting sustainable forest management.
- Medium Stone Finish: A medium structure finish that improves base glide. Quicker in all snow conditions, from cold morning corduroy to spring slush.
- Natural Wax: A paraffin-free wax compound made from natural ingredients. A non-pollutant compound held to the highest standards of glide speed.
- All mountain EB: All mountain ready, right out of the wrapper. Equipped with a 1-degree bevel in the nose and tail and a 2-degree bevel between the feet for superior edge hold and no hang ups.
- Royal Cork Rails: Protect the planet and your edges with this eco version of Royal Rubber Rails. All the impact and chatter absorption you need while standing up for Mother Nature.

Camber- Best for carving and maintaining control and stability at speed on groomed runs or hard-pack with a lively responsive feel.
Rocker- Designed for quick turn initiation with a loose, surfy feel ideal for freestyle riding and fresh powder runs.
Flat- Versatile for various riding styles with balanced maneuverability and stability.
Hybrid- Is a combination of bends in the profile of a snowboard that change the riding characteristics for different terrains and conditions.
FLEX:
4 Flex
Soft Flex- 1-3 Flex. Forgiving and easier to apply pressure to while riding.
Medium Flex- 4-6 Flex. Versatile and responsive in varying conditions and terrain.
Stiff Flex- 7+ Flex. Less forgiving allowing for pressure to transfer edge to edge for a quick responsive board at high speeds.

- Extruded Base - Found on most beginner and freestyle snowboards. Durable and made to be easier to repair and maintain.
- Sintered Base - Absorbs and holds wax better for more custom tuning resulting in faster performance but does require more frequent wax application.

- Twin - The nose of the snowboard is the same shape and rise as the tail to ride the board in either direction and balanced freestyle riding.
- Directional Twin - The nose of the snowboard is the same shape and rise as the tail with the binding inserts set back for more surface area in the nose and versatility when riding in different snow conditions and terrain.
- Directional - The nose is typically longer and/or wider than the tail for float in powder and downhill riding.
