PRODUCT DETAILS
The Rome Boneless is a board built for riders who want a playful and surfy feel to lap the park, cruise groomers and make sure the vibe is right all-season long. The Boneless features Twin Diamond 3D for locked-in presses and cruising over variable snow with ease. Fusion Camber and the mellow-flexing Bamboo Omega HotRods perfectly complement the Boneless’ laid-back approach to downrails, sidehits, and chasing corduroy. Designed with unisex sizing, the Boneless keeps boarders of all ability levels standing on business all-season long.
- Fusion Camber: The gold standard for responsive versatility, Fusion Camber is a modern twist on OG positive camber. Small sections of rocker sit at the contact points along the traditional camber line, effectively helping roll out pressure or impact through the board’s nose and tail. The benefit of this design is a slightly more forgiving ride without sacrificing power. Fusion Camber is well-suited for Directional Twin and True Twin shapes as it’s great for riding switch in the park or blasting through groomers.
- Bamboo Omega HotRods: A thin sleeve of carbon, nestled around a bamboo HotRod, this configuration helps inject a nimble responsiveness without compromising a board’s butter-ability. Bamboo Omega HotRods are used in boards with a forgiving flex for freestyle-oriented riding.
- Twin Single HotRods: A single HotRod is milled into the board’s core, symmetrically positioned from the insert packs out into the nose and tail areas. This is the most widely used configuration, primarily used in True Twin and Directional Twin shapes as it creates a predictable boost of power and response that makes any shape ride better.
- Flax Impact Plates: Flax Impact Plates are woven mats of Flax, a lightweight textile with supernatural strength properties, laid between the board’s core, insert pack and topsheet. They add superior strength and impact dampening to a key part of the board, as so much energy is transferred through the inserts.
- Twin Diamond 3D: A freestyle and progression-oriented shaping technology, Twin Diamond 3D features a gradual curvature in the board’s nose and tail. This is built for smooth turn initiation and minimizing edge-catches while linking turns; perfect for dialing in the ‘falling leaf’ or having the most fun buttering everything in sight.
- SinterStrong: A low-maintenance, ride-it-all, don’t worry about a thing, sintered base. Designed for daily drivers and weekend warriors alike.
- Tri-Radial Twin: Designed to optimize true twin board shapes by using a wider radius in the tip and tail sections and a tighter radius in the mid-section of the board. This helps prevent hangups and overturning, while creating an overall more natural turn feel when riding switch.
- Pop Core: Our most versatile and durable core construction, Pop Cores are built for a predicable feel while easily adopting the targeted power of HotRods. This core is made up of alternating 20mm wide Poplar strips and 20m wide Paulownia strips.
- Biax Glass: This layout consists of fiberglass with two different axes, creating a more playful and torsionally dynamic feel. Great for freestyle-friendly presses, and torsional play for sidehits and jibs.
