The 2025 Public Statement Snowboard is Kas Lemmens' pro model. It is a mid-wide, positive cambered board that flattens out at the contact points allowing the board to get from edge to edge quickly despite its slightly wider waist width. This mid-wide shape alleviates toe & hell drag and offers more stability for high-impact riders looking for bigger terrain. 20mm quad carbon strips line the tip and tail giving this board serious pop, while the poplar wood core creates a smooth, consistent flex. Urethane sidewalls offer serious impact support and dampening while the sintered base makes getting speed a piece of cake. Let your snowboarding speak for itself on the “Statement”.
- TRADITIONAL CAMBER
- This board is camber with a little bit of flat at the contact point. This gives the board the pop of a full camber board but with a broken in feel that isnt catchy.
- BIAX GLASS
- All PUBLIC Snowboards are made using Biax fiberglass. Biax fiberglass creates a consistent and smooth flexing snowboard tip to tail while allowing the board to stay nimble and predictable.
- URETHANE SIDEWALLS
- Urethane sidewalls are used in all PUBLIC boards for their superior dampening properties compared to the industry standard ABS and P-tex sidewalls. Urethane sidewalls are more durable against impact on rocks or rails to prevent your board from delaminating when you get caught slippin in the park or backcountry.
- SINTERED BASE
- Rather than melting polyethylene pellets together extrusion, sintered bases are manufactured by crushing the pellets together under high pressure. This makes a sintered base more porous for maximum wax absorption, and more abrasion-resistant. In other words it makes the board faster and more durable!
- QUAD CARBON
- Carbon strips add pop and longevity to the board, maintaining its pop and stiffness longer while keeping the center of the board softer.
- Poplar Core is made of 100% FCS certified poplar wood. Poplar is the most common type of wood used in the snowboard cores for its unbeatable strength to weight ratio and is why Public makes the majority of their boards with this core.

Camber- Best for carving and maintaining control and stability at speed on groomed runs or hard-pack with a lively responsive feel.
Rocker- Designed for quick turn initiation with a loose, surfy feel ideal for freestyle riding and fresh powder runs.
Flat- Versatile for various riding styles with balanced maneuverability and stability.
Hybrid- Is a combination of bends in the profile of a snowboard that change the riding characteristics for different terrains and conditions.
FLEX:
4 Flex
Soft Flex- 1-3 Flex. Forgiving and easier to apply pressure to while riding.
Medium Flex- 4-6 Flex. Versatile and responsive in varying conditions and terrain.
Stiff Flex- 7+ Flex. Less forgiving allowing for pressure to transfer edge to edge for a quick responsive board at high speeds.

Beginner- From a first-time rider to learning the foundations of carving and stopping.

- Extruded Base - Found on most beginner and freestyle snowboards. Durable and made to be easier to repair and maintain.
- Sintered Base - Absorbs and holds wax better for more custom tuning resulting in faster performance but does require more frequent wax application.

- Twin - The nose of the snowboard is the same shape and rise as the tail to ride the board in either direction and balanced freestyle riding.
- Directional Twin - The nose of the snowboard is the same shape and rise as the tail with the binding inserts set back for more surface area in the nose and versatility when riding in different snow conditions and terrain.
- Directional - The nose is typically longer and/or wider than the tail for float in powder and downhill riding.
