The 2023 K2 Alchemist Snowboard is truly the sum of its parts, and is purpose-built for aggressive freeriding on steep and varied terrain. The Alchemist is built with premium materials featuring a fully cambered profile and the stiffest flex in the K2 snowboard line. The soul of the Alchemist is its lightweight, sustainably harvested S1 Core, giving unmatched durability, strength, and damping.Spectral Braid uses a carbon weave with tighter angles in the tip and tail and more obtuse between the inserts to precisely tune the torsional flex and give the Alchemist unmatched stability in all conditions. The SpaceGlass tip insert cuts weight from the nose while adding durability, and looks damn cool doing it. Carbon Power Forks in the tail give the board snap into and out of each turn, and adds just the right amount of stiffness for big landings and drops. SnoPhobic top sheet technology sheds snow to keep the board fast and light, and the Wax-Infused Sintered Base takes an absolute beating and straight up hauls ass. There is no doubt, this board is the real deal. Flat- Versatile for various riding styles with balanced maneuverability and stability.
Hybrid- Is a combination of bends in the profile of a snowboard that change the riding characteristics for different terrains and conditions.

Soft Flex- 1-3 Flex. Forgiving and easier to apply pressure to while riding.
Medium Flex- 4-6 Flex. Versatile and responsive in varying conditions and terrain.

- Extruded Base - Found on most beginner and freestyle snowboards. Durable and made to be easier to repair and maintain.
- Sintered Base - Absorbs and holds wax better for more custom tuning resulting in faster performance but does require more frequent wax application.

- Twin - The nose of the snowboard is the same shape and rise as the tail to ride the board in either direction and balanced freestyle riding.
- Directional Twin - The nose of the snowboard is the same shape and rise as the tail with the binding inserts set back for more surface area in the nose and versatility when riding in different snow conditions and terrain.
- Directional - The nose is typically longer and/or wider than the tail for float in powder and downhill riding.
