The 2026 Jones Aviator 2.0 Snowboard is a hard charging directional twin built for expert all-mountain riders who like to rail turns and stomp airs anywhere on the mountain. This Aviator was designed in collaboration with Jones team rider Victor de la Rue and Jimmy Goodman.

- Sustainable strength. Jones exclusive Flax Basalt stringers are made with 100% natural fibers and help transfer power to the edges and absorb board chatter.
- Lifes too short to ride slow bases! All Jones boards have hyper fast sintered bases made from super durable and wax absorbant premium P-tex.
- Koroyd is the lightest, most advanced damping core material Jones has ever tested. Koroyd absorbs vibrations and adds response at a fraction of the weight which enhances control and confidence.
- Like peanut butter and jelly, the Traction Tech edge bump pattern aligns perfectly with SkateTech bindings for unreal response and edge grip.

Rocker- Designed for quick turn initiation with a loose, surfy feel ideal for freestyle riding and fresh powder runs.
Flat- Versatile for various riding styles with balanced maneuverability and stability.
Hybrid- Is a combination of bends in the profile of a snowboard that change the riding characteristics for different terrains and conditions.
FLEX:
8 Flex
Soft Flex- 1-3 Flex. Forgiving and easier to apply pressure to while riding.
Medium Flex- 4-6 Flex. Versatile and responsive in varying conditions and terrain.
Stiff Flex- 7+ Flex. Less forgiving allowing for pressure to transfer edge to edge for a quick responsive board at high speeds.

Beginner- From a first-time rider to learning the foundations of carving and stopping.

- Extruded Base - Found on most beginner and freestyle snowboards. Durable and made to be easier to repair and maintain.
- Sintered Base - Absorbs and holds wax better for more custom tuning resulting in faster performance but does require more frequent wax application.

The material in the core of a snowboard is typically made of wood or other materials that enhance how the board rides and behaves on snow.
MOUNTING
The insert formation on the snowboard determines if a binding is compatible, how it is mounted, and your range of stance options.
SHAPE
- Twin - The nose of the snowboard is the same shape and rise as the tail to ride the board in either direction and balanced freestyle riding.
- Directional Twin - The nose of the snowboard is the same shape and rise as the tail with the binding inserts set back for more surface area in the nose and versatility when riding in different snow conditions and terrain.
- Directional - The nose is typically longer and/or wider than the tail for float in powder and downhill riding.
