The Kazu Kokubo Pro comes in a compact chassis with a powder nose and a slightly tapered tail, making this award-winning series quick and maneuverable. This versatility is perfect for side-country powder mornings that transition to resort riding after you’ve tracked your secret stash. And, while it’s a lofty goal, this board is your first step towards trying to emulate Kazu’s legendary riding style. Quick and maneuverable, the Kazu Pro’s lightweight power and pop comes from its Panda Hover Core™, CarbonFlax™ Amplifiers and a HolySheet™ Tri/Bi fiberglass configuration. Upgraded in 2025, the Kazu Kokubo Pro is powered by a tougher HyperDrive™ ADV XT base with factory-direct Moonshot Omni-Tune™.

- Specially treated pure wood veneer topsheet with a unique tactile feel that is 220gm lighter than the standard process.
- Grid woven tech tape featuring the response of carbon with the dampness of flax.

With exceptional anti-friction properties due to high molecular mass and specialized processing aids, this sintered material has a proprietary composition and is beyond fast. Our loyal fans charge hard, and we have integrated the fastest, meanest base available. We have increased the thickness of our XT bases for enhanced durability.

- Extruded Base - Found on most beginner and freestyle snowboards. Durable and made to be easier to repair and maintain.
- Sintered Base - Absorbs and holds wax better for more custom tuning resulting in faster performance but does require more frequent wax application.

- Twin - The nose of the snowboard is the same shape and rise as the tail to ride the board in either direction and balanced freestyle riding.
- Directional Twin - The nose of the snowboard is the same shape and rise as the tail with the binding inserts set back for more surface area in the nose and versatility when riding in different snow conditions and terrain.
- Directional - The nose is typically longer and/or wider than the tail for float in powder and downhill riding.
