Developed with pro rider Tor Lundström, the all-new Bataleon Tornado is built for advanced to expert-level snowboarders. This directional twin fuses freeride power with freestyle agility, featuring SideKick™ tips, designed to lift contact points for smoother carving and effortless powder float. At the same time, the MultiSync™ sidecut delivers elite edge hold on any terrain. At Tor’s request, we finished this model with a premium 7000-grade sintered base for maximum speed, making this quiver killer ready to beast in all conditions.
- UltraLightCore - A 1:2 blend of Poplar and Paulownia that delivers exceptional strength-to-weight ratio.
- Ultra Glide S - A premium, 7000-grade sintered base reserved for our high-end models. A higher grade P-Tex means that this base material is equal parts tough as nails and fast as hell.
- Tri-Ax Laminate - Our three-way fiberglass weave is light, strong and crazy responsive. - Carbon Stringers - Carbon is incredibly lightweight and delivers explosive pop, quick edge response and exceptional dampening at high speeds.
- D.R.S.T (Dual Radial SuperTube™) - Similar to DST but with four extra Super Tubes (six in total) running alongside the rails of the snowboard, delivering extra energy directly to the edges.
- Step Down Rails - A thinner sidewall alongside the edge of the snowboard creates a lighter-weight package and allows for a more direct transfer of power between the wood core and your edges.
- Backseat Inserts - An additional insert pack designed to allow you to set your stance back for enhanced float during those deeper days.

- Extruded Base - Found on most beginner and freestyle snowboards. Durable and made to be easier to repair and maintain.
- Sintered Base - Absorbs and holds wax better for more custom tuning resulting in faster performance but does require more frequent wax application.

- Twin - The nose of the snowboard is the same shape and rise as the tail to ride the board in either direction and balanced freestyle riding.
- Directional Twin - The nose of the snowboard is the same shape and rise as the tail with the binding inserts set back for more surface area in the nose and versatility when riding in different snow conditions and terrain.
- Directional - The nose is typically longer and/or wider than the tail for float in powder and downhill riding.
