Watch this video to learn how to set your saddle to the correct height:

Step-by-step Instructions

First, if your bike has Rear Suspension, you’ll need to set the correct SAG (learn how here). Additionally, if your bike has a Dropper Post, be sure it’s in the fully extended position.

Then follow these instructions:

  1. Measure your inseam
  2. Multiply your inseam measurement X .885 – this is the starting point for your saddle height
  3. Measure from the center of your cranks to the center of your saddle and set your saddle height based on your inseam number
  4. Sit on your bike with shoes on, place heels on your pedals, and pedal backward until your leg is fully extended
  5. Adjust the height up or down until your knee is locked out at the fully extended position
