A Deeper Dive: Aventon Aventure M Details and Tech Specs

The Aventure M features the Aventon A100 motor, previously only found on the Ramblas. This ensures a more natural ride feel and better power efficiency that contributes to its maximum 85-mile range. It also uses Aventon's ACU, which you can learn more about in this blog post. In short, the ACU adds amazing features like integrated bike and battery locks, bike tracking via GPS, and over-the-air software updates.
A unique feature of the Aventure M is Autoshift. Autoshift works by measuring your speed and pedaling cadence. It changes gears automatically based on this information, as well as the position of your pedals. You can customize when it shifts and how quickly it shifts in the Aventon MyRide app. Both the shift motor and shift paddle are powered by the internal battery, meaning there’s no need to charge or replace additional batteries. Autoshift gives you one less thing to worry about so you can enjoy the ride.
Diving a little deeper into the specs, we find that the A100 motor offers 250 watts of nominal power output with 100Nm of torque, so you can tackle any terrain from the steepest hills to the flattest country roads. Powering the motor is a 722Wh integrated battery that will keep you riding all day. The drivetrain is a Shimano CUES 10-speed, with the aforementioned Autoshift capabilities for reliability and capability over any terrain. Keeping everything under control are the new SRAM DB4 hydraulic disc brakes that offer unmatched stopping power.
Conclusion: Power and Comfort No Matter the Terrain

With great technical features like Autoshift, the A100 motor, and the ACU, backed up by the incredible analog systems of the 10-speed drivetrain and powerful disc brakes, Aventon is throwing in everything they have to complete this package. The Aventure M is Aventon’s most capable bike to date; from city streets to off-road trails to open fields, the Aventure M can handle them all.
This is the bike for you if you want a comfortable ride that can handle almost any terrain. If you’re looking to stick mostly to streets and paved trails, you could take a look at the Pace 4 or Level 3 offerings from Aventon.
