What Mountain Bike Brands Will Be Featured at MDT?
One of the reasons our Mega Demo Tour is so successful is because we have some of the best MTB brands partnering with us to provide the most groundbreaking bikes and gear on the market. Here’s a quick glance at the brand partners we’re honored to have joining us on the tour.
Specialized: Bikes to Rule the Trails
Specialized employees are all riders—that fact has guided their every decision since 1974. When quality tires weren't around, Specialized strove to make the best. When people wanted to ride cruisers in the dirt, they made the first production mountain bike. When roadies wanted to go faster, Specialized doubled down on carbon and built their own wind tunnel. And when they saw kids struggling to focus in school, they began supporting Outride to help promote better health through cycling.
As quickly as the mountain bike arrived, so did the issue of trail access. In 1987, Specialized took part in a roundtable of advocacy groups, and within six months, the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA) was born. In short order, Specialized became trail access evangelists. They've always been focused on building not only quality trails, but quality bikes for mountain bikers. Specialized: made for riders, by riders.
Transition Bicycle Company: Rider-Owned for Life
In the words of Transition owners Kevin Menard and Kyle Young:
Transition Bikes has been building bikes and friendships in the mountain bike community for almost 20 years. And while it seems like yesterday we were shipping bikes out of Kevin's creepy basement, we are excited about where we have come and how we have grown as a company. We have always been about connecting with our customers and being an open and transparent company that welcomes all. We got into this for the friendships, the riding, and creating a unique place to work. Yeah, we're a little bigger now, but the philosophy has never changed. We thank you for all the love and support we have gotten over the years and can’t wait to see you on the trails.
Aventon: Redefine Adventure
Aventon’s mission is to inspire adventures, both big and small, in all terrains of life. They hit the scene in 2013 with the aerodynamic, lightweight Mataró and formed their own racing team in 2014. Electric bikes with innovative engineering and affordable pricing followed in the late 2010s. The company expanded in 2020 and doubled its electric bike fleet in 2022, with the eMTB Ramblas first appearing in 2024. The sky’s the limit for Aventon in the future, as they continue to break barriers to electric mobility and are geared up for even more breakthroughs.
Fox Racing: Chasing the Future
All dreams start somewhere, and for Fox founder Geoff Fox, it began with a dream job at a small but bustling moto dealership in Santa Clara, California—Grand Prix Cycles. From the seed of a mail-order parts catalog, he created not just a legendary racing team, Moto-X Fox, he also grew his dream into a global business, pioneering innovations in product design while redefining the culture of motocross along the way.
Fifty years later, they keep that dream alive, taking the torch carried by athletes who have repped the Fox head on the field—Mark Barnett, Brad Lackey, Ricky Johnson, Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart, Ryan Dungey, Shaun Palmer, and Stevie Smith, to name a handful—and passing it on to the next generation of dreamers. Fox honors Geoff’s vision and passion by continuing to imagine and create the most innovative and technologically advanced moto and mountain bike gear on the planet.
