Let’s just take a look at this thing! At the front, the handlebars put you into a comfortable, upright, heads-up riding position, keeping your eyes on the road in front of you.

All Specialized Como Super Light models feature an aluminum Smart Weld step-through Frame and the built-in easy lift handle makes lifting and loading the Como Super Light a breeze. At 47,48 pounds, you’ll almost forget that Como SL is an eBike!

Second, it’s you times 2.

But it is an eBike. But not any eBike, this is part of the Specialized Super Light family of eBikes. It’s you times 2. Meaning, for every watt that you put into the bike, the 240-watt hour, 35-newton meter motor doubles that effort smoothly and naturally, up to a maximum assisted speed of 28 miles per hour. If your legs take you beyond 28, you just keep pedaling with no weird cut-out or resistance, you just keep rolling! The built-in 320-Watt Hour battery will take you up to 62 miles on a charge, add on the optional Range Extender battery and extend that range up to 93 miles!

Como SL rolls on 650b by 2.3″ tires that give you a nice cushion from the ground and keep you confident in almost any road or trail condition. Paved paths, potholed streets, crushed limestone trails, and even some gravel are no match for the Como Super Light!

Easily sync with the Mission Control App to ride even smarter.

Como Super Light is compatible with the Mission Control app where you will be able to fully tune your motor output, view your riding metrics, and perform basic system diagnostics. Most importantly, Mission Control lets you fight Range Anxiety by using the Spart Control feature. Simply tell Mission Control how far you want to go or how long you want to ride, and Smart Control will adjust your motor output so that you get back with plenty of juice left in the tank!

The Como Super Light is one of the easiest bikes, let alone eBikes to ride. The full-coverage DryTech fenders not only keep you clean and dry, but they also protect the internal gear hub, battery, motor, and cables from road grime, leading to less maintenance and premature wear. The Como Super Light 5.0 even features a maintenance-free belt-driven drivetrain!

Yes, I said internal gear hub! All Como Super Light bikes come with an internal gear rear hub. Not only are these hubs less maintenance because the shifting bits are tucked up inside the hub, but they also allow you to shift instantly, unlike bikes with a rear derailleur that require you to pedal to change gears. So, if you come to a stop but forget to shift into an easy gear, simply make the shift, and you’re ready to pedal!

Como Super Light is not lightweight when it comes to carrying cargo! The front and rear racks can carry almost twice its weight in cargo, the front porteur rack with a removable basket can carry 33 pounds of groceries while the rear rack can hold two panniers filled with 44 pounds of whatever treasure you want to transport!

The front rack of the Como Super Light is mounted directly to the frame of the bike, not the fork. This eliminates the “fork flop” that can happen with fork-mounted front racks.

Ride safer with integrated front and rear lights!

On the safety side of things, integrated front and rear lights illuminate the road in front of you and let those behind you know that you’re there. Again, that heads-up riding position lets you keep your eyes on the road and the low-entry frame makes it a breeze to get on and off the bike. Finally, all Como Super Light models come with a kickstand to keep the bike upright when you’re not on the go.

The Turbo Como Super Light 4.0 features the Shimano Nexus rear hub with 5 internal gears for instantaneous, weatherproof shifting and a chain drive. A Specialized TCD computer can be added as an accessory.

Turbo Como Super Light 5.0

Step on up to the Turbo Como Super Light 5.0 and you get the 8-Speed Shimano Alfine internal hub with a Gates Carbon Belt drive! The combination of the internal hub and the Gates belt drive makes the Como Super Light 5.0 virtually maintenance-free! Como SL 5.0 also comes with the TCD stock.
