As you have probably heard, there have been issues with Bike, Ski and Snowboard limited inventory. We expect to continue to see challenges this holiday season.

We want you to get the gear you need and so we are recommending you shop early. For anything needing to be shipped, please allow extra time to ensure you get your gear on time.

While shipping carrier delays are not common, ERIK’S is not responsible for an order arriving later than the estimated shipping arrival date that is due to a carrier delay.

General Shipping Policies

At ERIK'S, we strive every day to make sure you are 100% satisfied with your order. That includes making sure your order arrives quickly in great condition. This page contains information on our shipping processes. If your order was damaged or lost in shipping, please scroll to the bottom of this page.

We try to ship all orders within 24 hours of the order being placed (Mon-Fri). For orders placed on weekends or public holidays, we aim to ship within 24 hours of the next business day. With that said, there are times when there are delays in shipping orders. The most common instances of this are:

  • Shipping Bikes that require extra time to prepare for shipping
  • Products not in stock: this includes any Product that is marked as ‘Ship When In,' ‘Back Ordered' or ‘Special Order' are not in stock. We will contact you within a business day to let you know if/when we will be able to fulfill your order
  • Although we do stock as many products as possible in Web Inventory, there are certain items (especially items marked as Closeout) that are only stocked at our stores. These items are always available for order online and in most instances we will still ship within our specified time frame. If there will be an additional delay, we will notify you within a business day, and work with you to make sure we fulfill your order in a timely manner

In any instance when we cannot ship within our specified time frame we will notify you within a business day providing an estimated shipping date along with alternative options as they are available.

Tracking Your Order

Every shipment we send receives full tracking information so you can follow the shipment status of your order. The tracking number will be emailed to you once your order ships.

Shipping Methods

Being honest and upfront about shipping is important to us. Many products qualify for Free Shipping but some do not. For items that do not qualify for free shipping, you can choose whichever FedEx service fits your needs. Before you finalize your order, you will have the ability to select the specific FedEx Shipping Service and the site will show you accurate shipping costs for each method.

Products that qualify for Free Shipping are marked with a ‘Free Shipping' tag on both the search page as well as the product page. For items that qualify for Free Shipping, we will use the most cost effective shipping method for that specific item. That includes (but is not limited to):

  • FedEx Ground Shipping
  • USPS Priority Shipping
  • USPS Flat Rate Shipping
  • USPS First Class Mail
  • USPS Parcel Post (it is very rare that we use this method and it is usually reserved to bikes shipping to APO/FPO boxes where we have no choice due to package dimensions)

Buy Online, Pick Up In Store

At ERIK'S, we want you to shop in the ways that are convenient for you. Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store gives you the ease of buying online and picking up your order at your convenient ERIK'S location. For full details on this program, see our Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store page. All items that we list online are available to be purchased online using our Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store program, but we do have restrictions on moving items between stores. You may run into a situation where you are unable to select an item to pick-up at a specific store.

Every bike we sell is professional assembled and quality checked before shipping. Everything we do is to ensure your bike is in perfect condition when you receive it and you have the best experience with ERIK'S. Shipping Damage & Lost Shipment Information

At ERIK'S, we do our best to package every order so it arrives to you in great condition, but occasionally items are damaged or lost during shipping. This section provides important information on what to do in the event of shipping damage or a lost shipment.

General Shipping Issues

While we will do everything we can do resolve any shipping issues that occur, there are some situations that are outside of our control and we cannot be held liable for. Including, but not limited to:

  • Any weather or 'Act of God' related shipping delays
  • Any costs involved in fixing lost/damaged/misshipped items other than to US shipping addresses. Most Importantly: We only ship to US addresses. If you then forward that item on to a different country, we are not able to assist with damages or issues until the item is back at the US addressed we shipped it to
  • Any costs outside of direct product or shipping issues

Shipping Damage

Please fill out the Shipping Damage form below with as much detail as possible following these policies:

  • You must notify us within 7 business days of delivery for us to be able to file a claim with our carriers
  • You must retain all packaging materials and as much as possible, keep the item in the condition it was delivered to you
  • ERIK'S is not able to provide compensation for your time, labor or any other cost that may have been incurred as a result of shipping damage

Lost Shipment

Please fill out the Lost Shipment form below with as much detail as possible.

We will respond to all Damaged/Lost Shipping Claims within 2 business days and will work with our carriers to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Depending on the situation we can issue a full refund, repair or replace the item.
