Pro Scooters (also know as Trick Scooters, Freestyle Scooters or Stunt Scooters) are a very strong, durable and upgradable version of the toy or basic kick scooters most people are familiar with. As kids often do, they started to experiment with riding toy scooters at skate parks and doing tricks on them. This led to a lot of broken scooters and scooter parts that were not easily replaceable. As people started to do bigger and bigger tricks, it became obvious that a new type of scooter was needed; the Pro Scooter was born.
Pro Scooters are more expensive than toy scooters due to the design and production costs that go into building a scooter that can withstand the impacts they experience. A basic Pro Scooter will start out at around $120 and go up from there. Usually as the price goes up, you will see better components and/or materials used in the build. As the quality of the individual components increases, the scooter will be stronger and lighter, and depending on how you are riding, you will likely see more durability and easier airtime with a stronger, lighter scooter.
