Grants and Donations
Erik's is dedicated to the communities in which we do business and strives to promote and encourage active, healthy lifestyles through bicycling, snowboarding, skiing, and skateboarding. Erik's supports these communities through two programs: Erik's Grants Program and Community Giving Gift Card Donations.

Erik's Grant Program supports various non-profit organizations, charitable events, community programs, and bicycle advocacy efforts that further Erik's mission throughout our communities. Examples of current or past events, organizations, and programs that received support from Erik's Bike Shop include: Ironman Bike Ride, The Hartford Breast Cancer Ride, Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota, Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin, and Three Rivers Park District.
For Events in April, May, June:
- Application Deadline: March 1
- Decision Date: March 31
For Events in July, August, September:
- Application Deadline: May 1
- Decision Date: May 31
For Events in October, November, December:
- Application Deadline: September 1
- Decision Date: September 30

Gift Card Donations of $25 gift cards. Examples of Community Giving gift card recipients include bike rodeos, youth bicycle safety programs, and community health and wellness fairs. Requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance of the date the gift card donation is needed.

All eligible grant and gift card donation requests must be for a community program or event that meets at least one of the following criteria:
- Promotes bicycling, snowboarding, skiing, and/or skateboarding
- Encourages health and wellness through active lifestyles
- Supports bicycle safety and advocacy efforts
- Benefits a non-profit organization dedicated to health and wellness
- Provides educational and recreational opportunities for youth
Erik's does not award grants or donate gift cards to:
- Individuals for personal gain or personal fundraising
- Applicants located outside of Erik's business communities
- Religious or political organizations
- Athletic teams or events unrelated to health & wellness, bicycling, snowboarding, skiing, or skateboarding
