The Time IClic Road Pedals introduce a new technology to their pedal line-up. The Open Pedal system makes clipping into these pedals as easy as can be. Time replaced the usual metal spring retention mechanism with a Fiberflex composite blade. In the process they designed a system that holds the retention system open once you have clipped out so that when you need to clip back in the cleat ‘triggers’ the system to close, meaning minimal effort on your part.
