2023 ARCTIC FAT FEVER - CANCELLED

Rain in February is a real bummer!

As they say, you can't control the weather! Due to the current weather conditions and impact they have had on Lake Minnetonka regretfully; we must cancel the event.

Refunds will be available until March 3, 2023. However, you may choose to donate your entry fee to the Minnetonka High School mountain bike team who would have provided volunteer support for the event.

In order to receive a refund, please have your order number handy and contact our Brain Trust customer service team via chat, phone (877-885-2453), or email help@eriksbikeshop.com.

Time: Check in starts at 12:00 PM and Race starts at 2:00 PM

Excelsior Brewing Company and ERIK’S are excited to announce the 9th Annual Arctic Fat Fever Fat Bike Race! This fat bike race will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 on Lake Minnetonka at Excelsior Brewing.

The race will start on Lake Minnetonka and end at Excelsior Brewing Company. There is a 3" minimum tire width requirement (Fatties Only). The race will start at 2pm.

We will have 4 categories this year! Male/Female/Non-Binary/E-Bike Racer Categories with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Awards. Please select the appropriate class when registering. E-Bikes will start ahead of acoustic bikes.

Entrance is limited to 200 participants and registration is $25 (non-refundable), with all proceeds being donated to the Minnetonka High School Mountain Biking Team, and all racers get a free pint glass! Wow! Fat bikes and snow... how could it get any better? How about live music inside the tap room at Excelsior Brewing where there will be beer and non-alcoholic beverages to quench the thirst you worked up while racing?
