The 2013 Specialized Women's Vita Flat Bar Road Bike offers the speed of a road bike with the comfort and confidence that comes from a flat bar, for exercising, commuting, or hitting the open road. The Shimano 24-speed drivetrain provides reliable performance and has enough gears to cope with the hills. The A1 Premium Aluminum frame is light and durable while the Double Wall rims are strong enough to cope with urban obstacles and light for quick acceleration.

I love this bike! I was looking for something that would help me get back into shape and enjoy riding with my kids. I can attach a Burley to the back with my two kids inside and it doesn't feel like I'm pulling a semi-truck. I road it more than any other bike I've ever owned this past summer and have even purchased an indoor trainer for the winter and cooler days so that I can stay in shape. I'm hoping to get some longer distances on it this next riding season!!

I got last years version of the Vita because I signed up for a triathlon and wanted something better. SOOO MUCH faster than my old schwinn. I gave it 4 stars because now I really want a road bike with the drop bars for longer distances. I love biking!

I'm not a racer, so I was overwhelmed the first time I came into a bike shop and saw all the expensive road bikes. I like to ride around the lakes and get a good workout in the summer. The Vita fit my budget and is very easy to ride. I also put a rack on it so I can commute to work when the weather is nice. It's been a great bike.
