The 2011 Torker T-400E Electric Bicycle features a comfortable upright riding position coupled with an electric assist system that allows you, the rider, to go faster and farther with less effort and fatigue. Torker's proven electric assist system enables you to travel up to 40 miles on a single charge at power-assisted speeds of up to 18 mph. Inside the front hub is the 90% efficient; brushless gear-driven motor, which is powered by a state of the art battery on the rear rack. By utilizing lithium polymer technology, this powered-by-Protanium system provides 10AH of electricity with only a five hour charge time. Weighing less than 16 pounds, this lightweight system is engineered to perform to the highest standards for years of trouble free service.
